Some of the main reasons teen pregnancy is a problem in the U.S. is because parents sometimes aren't around to parent their kids and talk to them about the problems that can come from this issue. Also, there is a lack of education about protected or unprotected sex. Another reaso;n this is a problem is because parents sometimes slack on the amount of supervision that is there. Rape, sexual abuse, peer pressure and so many other things today cause this to be a problem that needs to be ended soon.

Some postive effects of teen pregnancy is it induces the maturity of the teen at a younger age. Some negative effects of teenage pregnancy is money issues can occur, missing out on a number of activities teens shouldn;t miss out on. Also, if you become a mother you have to put the babies problem before yours at all times. People having babies at at the age of a teen can cause health risks, disorders, a;nd the baby can be premature.

Some solutions to the problem with teen pregnancy is every school could be made into seperate sex schools. All girls can go to one school and the boys can go to another. More condoms and more types of protection should be made. More people who have already experenced this should get out to tell their stories and possibly impact their lives and maybe they will have a different perspective on the situation.
